CKC Sport Karate

Claudy Karate Club is an experienced and high-profile sport karate club. We boast a number of World and European Champions in a number of world governing bodies. Our Most notable titles coming in;

• Dermot McFeely - Under21 IKU World Champion

• Ciaran Curry - Under16 IKU World Champion

With a range of other titles and medal placings in WUKF, IKU, WKC & WUKO.

In November 2018 we affiliated ourselves to ONAKAI, the national governing body for WKF in Ireland. Since then we have went on to secure a number of national titles.

Keenan Donaghey went on to break new ground when he became our first student to represent Ireland at a EKF European Champions (Prague 22) and a WKF World Championships (Turkey 22). Keenan reached 21st place in the World Rankings over the course of the year, with his biggest performance taking out World No 4 ranked from Serbia on a score line of 5-2.

As a club we have a development pathway for our students, which supports them and facilities their journey from a novice beginner, to an elite level athlete. Everyone is given their chance to fight!
